Is My Resume Too Long?

Nobody was rejected for page three. "Too long" is really "is the thing that matters up top?" Our scan reads the top of your resume, and it reads the bottom, and what usually gets skipped is the middle.

An administrative assistant with fifteen years on the job and a new grad with one internship both make the same mistake: burying the line that matters on page two instead of leading with it.

Two pages is fine. Three is fine if page three is the licence that gets you hired. Upload it and see which line the scan quotes as the one deciding your rung. If that line is on page two, the problem isn't length.
